MousePortal Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
MousePortal is a local macOS utility for managing cursor movement across multiple displays.
Data Collection
MousePortal does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal data.
The app does not include analytics, advertising, telemetry, crash reporting, tracking SDKs, or a backend service.
Local Settings
MousePortal stores app settings locally on your Mac, including display layout names, hotkey settings, portal settings, configuration profiles, launch-at-login preference, and menu bar visibility preference.
These settings stay on your device and are not sent to the developer.
Permissions
MousePortal asks for macOS Accessibility permission because its core features need to listen for configured global hotkeys, monitor mouse movement for portal triggers, and move the cursor between displays.
MousePortal does not use Accessibility permission to read documents, inspect other app content, record the screen, capture keystrokes for unrelated purposes, or transmit user activity.
